Job: Consultant Radiologist @ Kuwait

Excellent opportunity for Radiologist to work with a leading hospital in the GCC.

 

Job Function:

 

1. The physician is in charge of diagnosing diseases and admitted to interpret the clinical

    presentation of the patients in the radiological findings. He/She performs radiological

    examinations, advice type of required imaging, and necessity of contrast administration and

    the best suitable imaging views for proper findings. He/She is able to conduct life saving

    procedures. Depending on their area of specialty, physicians work with patients from various

    age groups and patient populations.

 

2. The physician has to be accountable for the maintenance of the professional standards

    within the scope of service that set and monitored by Chief Medical Officer.

 

3. The physician has to follow and implement the departmental clinical practice guidelines and

    clinical pathways as set by the head of the department.

 

4. The physician must be dedicated to a lifetime of continuing education in order to meet the

    changing health care profession's needs.

 

 

Job Summary:

 

1. To perform duties of diagnosis and management of patients attending the Radiology department.

 

2. To perform invasive and non-invasive radiological procedures for patients referred from

    outpatient, emergency and inpatient departments as well as walk-in patients and patients

    referred from outside facilities. The performed radiological procedures are within the scope of

    service of the radiology department.

 

3. To supervise and monitor work done by specialists and registrars.

4. To follow and implement rules set by medical administration for control of work system.

Education and Work Experience/Qualifications:

 

1. Fellow ship of the Royal Colleges of Physicians-UK

2. Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians-UK

3. American Board,Canadian Board,European Board; or

4. Egyptian Medical Doctorate

 

Experience:  At least 7 Years after the above mentioned degree
